Time is really precious to me to teach A Math. The O levels are approaching and I wondered if all topics could be taught well to my students. This is especially so for the weaker students who are struggling to catch up. Already I have utilised outside classroom time to teach the students.
I had also gotten peer-teaching as one other alternative for my weaker students. One-on one, I hope will provide them the extra push to understand and the students need to understand the topic fast.
The last test showed many students doing better in Trigonometrcial ratios. This serves as the basics for them and with this fundamentals right. I hope that they will be able to understand the sequence topic better.

For my Sec 4E weak pupils last year, I selected topics that they were more able to master like Remainder & Factor Theorem, Eqn of a circle, etc, and taught them with a slower pace. Of course I did not give up Trigo, Log, Differentiation & Integration. For differentiation & integration, I also chose topics that were easier to score at least a pass. For Geometrical proofs, I only spent 2 to 3 periods going through very fast and spent time on it only with the better students outside curriculum time. Guess for weaker pupils, we need to be selective over the topics. Aim for pass and forget about scoring.
